Description

Some primates live in trees and some live on the land and in trees. In this episode we meet KINDERZOO’s finest primates like our host Gabby the Gibbon, Deni the Douc Langur, Marty the Mandrill, Colin the Colobus Monkey and Mike the Proboscis Monkey. We also learn how Mike got his large nose in Kinderzoo Tales.
All the animals at the KINDERZOO are so different. Some of their body parts are adapted to suit their lifestyles, such as the Joe the Elephant and his big ears, Rhiannon the Rhinoceros and her large nostrils, Carlisle the Crocodile and his third eyelid, Boris the Slow Loris and his large eyes, Teresa the Tapir and her long nose – and speaking of long noses, how about Mike the Proboscis Monkey? And here is Joe the Elephant again in Kinderzoo Tales and how he found his trumpet bellowing sound.
Cats are big beautiful creatures and also powerful hunters. In this episode we learn more about Johnny the Jaguar, Tarli the Tiger, Peta the Cheetah, Larry the Leopard and Ryan the Lion plus we learn how Ryan the Lion got his roar in Kinderzoo Tales.
KINDERZOO is full of animals with funny noses. These include: Mike the Proboscis Monkey, Martha the Manatee, Teresa the Tapir, Joe the Elephant and Marty the Mandrill. Plus in Kinderzoo Tales we learn how Marty the Mandrill got his colourful face.
At KINDERZOO we meet some of the animals that like to sleep during the day and then wake up to feed themselves at night. These include: Harry the Hippopotamus, Boris the Slow Loris, Roberta the Raccoon, Madeline the Pangolin, Carlisle the Crocodile and Ryan the Lion and then we find out how Sonny the Sun Bear got his markings.
Let’s take a look at the colourful animals at KINDERZOO. Some blend in very well to their backgrounds whereas others are quite a stand out. In this episode we look at Tarli the Tiger, Debra the Zebra, Gerry the Giraffe, Larry the Leopard, Marty the Mandrill and Tia the Tapir. Our KInderzoo Tale is about how Gerry the Giraffe got his long neck.
Some animals at KINDERZOO like to keep to themselves. We call these animals “loners”, like Martha the Manatee, Johnny the Jaguar, Poppy the Orangutan and Rhiannon the Rhinoceros. We find out how Rhiannon the Rhinoceros got her horns in Kinderzoo Tales.
