AIAH, the song above build a bonfire, was about Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up the houses of parliament in london, but the words were changed many years ago and it become a school song, because many kids hated school and the teachers, and instead of singing the proper words around the bonfire on bonfire night we kids all sung are version of it, hope this helps you understand
