This is the version I learned from the children's video wee sing in Sillyville: one bottle of pop, two bottle of pop, three bottle of pop, four bottle of pop, five bottle of pop, six bottle of of pop, seven bottle of pop, POP! Don't chuck your muck in my dustbin, my dustbin, my dustbin, don't chuck your muck in my dustbin, my dustbin's full. Fish and chips and vinegar, vinegar, vinegar, fish and chips and vinegar, vinegar and POP!

I had a third verse and all could be sung at the same time: Fish and chips and vinegar, vinegar, vinegar. Fish and chips and vinegar, pepper, pepper, pepper salt. 1 bottle a pop, 2 bottle a pop, 3 bottle a pop, 4. 5 bottle a pop, 6 bottle a pop, 7 bottle a pop, pop. Don't throw your muck in my backyard, my backyard, my backyard. Don't throw your muck in my backyard, my backyard's full.

I learned it with the lyrics "pickled peppers piping hot". Also as a 3 part round with "One bottle a pop, 2 bottle a pop, 3 bottle a pop, 4 bottle a pop. 5 bottle a pop, six bottle a pop, 7, 8 bottle a pop.

I learned this song in Girl Scouts, to be sung in a round. It also included the background tune with the words: "1 lollipop, 2lollipop, 3...." to 6 with a "pepper pepper pepper pop" at the end. It's all about the melody, harmony thing - lyrics don't help :(

We sang this as a "round" at Girl Scout Camp. But sang the second line as: Fish and Chips and Vinegar, Pepper, Pepper, Pepper, Salt! (with the motion of shaking pepper and salt). Thanks for the great memories!
