I am looking for a version of Hickory Dickory Dock that my mom used to recite to me. It goes something like this... Hickory, dickory dock the mouse ran up the clock the clock stuck one and down he runs hickory dickory dock i'm hungry said mousey mousey i need a bite to eat so he tip toed in the kitchen to look for something sweet he twichted his nose from left to right until he started drooling for over on the window sill a cherry pie was cooling..... from there I am kinda lost. I know the mouse takes a 'bath inside the kitchen sink" and the "old grey cat walks in". They knock over a broom, spill crackers, you get the idea... Please help, i have searched everywhere, she is a beloved memory with my mom who is now passed away and now that I have children I would love to pass it on!

I know, my mom used to recite that one to me too when I was little growing up in England - I can't seem to find it...I can remember a bit more after the cherry pie cooling The sill was just a leap away and quicker than a minute mousy was upon the tart and stuck his face right in it... the cherry juice came bubbling down and stained his fur quite pink so mousy had to take a bath inside the kitchen sink then it's something like - he cleaned his paws and wiped his paws and cleaned his tickely tale, and just as he got the last drop off the old grey cat walked in Hello mousy said the old grey cat, please don't run away - you know I love you dearly and I only want to play... Then I forget the rest......anyone else?

This was a little book that I used to read to my oldest son back in the early 70's. I have been trying to find it, but no luck. If you do find it, post it please.
