If You're Happy and You Know It

Song Lyrics & Words

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands.
(clap clap)
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands.
(clap clap)
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands.
(clap clap)

If you're happy and you know it stomp your feet.
(stomp stomp)
If you're happy and you know it stomp your feet.
(stomp stomp)
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it stomp your feet.
(stomp stomp)

If you're happy and you know it nod your head.
(nod nod)
If you're happy and you know it nod your head.
(nod nod)
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it nod your head.
(nod nod)

If you're happy and you know it shout "Hooray!"
(Hoo-Ray!)
If you're happy and you know it shout "Hooray!"
(Hoo-Ray!)
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it shout "Hooray!"
(Hoo-Ray!)

If you're happy and you know it do all four.
(stomp nod Hoo-Ray!)
If you're happy and you know it do all four.
(clap stomp nod Hoo-Ray!))
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it do all four.
(clap stomp nod Hoo-Ray!))

nice and very dynamic song. My grade 2 students liked it a lot. but I think it is very fast for second language learners. Do you have a slower version? Thanks a lot in advance.

My baby loves this song and the video she dances when she sees the children and she's only 13 months old! Thank you!

! Here's my silly version that all the kids found hillarious.! If you think your daddy's ugly clap your hands.! If you think your daddy's ugly clap your hands.! If he's ugly and you know it.! And you really want to show it.! If you think your daddy's ugly clap your hands.! The babies didn't know what "ugly" meant, they recognized only "clap your hands" which what made it so funny. Plus, I was getting back at daddy. !

That's stupid, and an awful thing to teach your child.

comment to Love (in Winnipeg, Canada on 12February 2009). What are you teaching the children? What are the values and morals to your version of the song? Way to teach hatred!

Before my son was old enough to say the "hooray" I would have him do if your happy and you know it blink your eyes...wiggle your fingers...touch your nose. He loved it, and it helped teach body parts.
