Lemon Drops

Song Lyrics & Words

If all of the raindrops
Were lemondrops and gumdrops,
Oh what a rain it would be!
I'd stand outside
With my mouth opened wide;
Oh what a life I would lead!

If all of the snowflakes
Were candy bars and milk shakes,
Oh what a snow it would be!
I'd stand outside
With my mouth opened wide;
Oh what a storm that would be!

If all of the sun beams
Were bubble gum and ice cream,
Oh what a life I would lead!
I'd stand outside
With my mouth opened wide;
Oh what a life I would lead!

This song is fun to do with toddlers. My class would have the children hold out their tongue on the last stanza and say ah ah ah aha aha aha with the beat. They really laugh hard to see the teacher going along with them!
