I always thought the song went... hush little baby don't say a word, mamma's gonna buy you a mocking bird. If that mocking bird don't sing, momma's gonna buy you a diamond ring,..................... don't shine, mommma's gonna hirre a private eye. If that private eye can't see, ect.....
