Peter
Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater. Had a wife but couldn't keep her happy. She always seemed unhappy. She never was content. So, he put her in a shell, and there he kept her everything, but happy. She never was happy. No matter what he spent.
Peter liked the house, “as is.” His wife would like it sold. To him it was so cozy. To her it was too cold. He bought her gifts and lots of things. He bought them all brand new. But none of this seemed to work. What else could he do?

Ev'rything he thought about. He thought she thought it too. But he was wrong as usual. So what else is new? He bought her gifts and lots of things. He bought them all brand new. But none of this seemed to work. What else could he do?
It seemed that all she wanted was some of his attention. To stop what he was doing. To take some time to listen.
