A Version dating back to the 60's
She'll be coming in a wagon when she
comes (when she comes)
She'll be coming in a wagon when she
comes (when she comes)
She'll be coming in a wagon
And her feet will be a dragin'
Cause they won't fit in the wagon
When she comes.
Long Version
Billy Hill, a hilly-bill an old railroad man, When he'd hear a whistle or a bell- He'd start in to roar, sounds like Engine forty-four, Then the neighbors all would hear him yell. -
She'll be comin round the mountain when she comes, She'll be comin round the mountain when she comes, I can hear the engine pantin, and the passengers a chantin, She'll be comin round the mountain when she comes.
She'll be drivin' six white horses when she comes, She'll be drivin' six white horses when she comes, When you hear the whistle tootin', you can gamble sure as shootin', She'll be drivin' six white horses when she comes.
She'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes, She'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes, If she hits a cow on sunday, Then we'll all have beef-steak Monday, She'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes.

I have to sing this song every night to my 2 year old to get him to sleep and I only knew the 1st 3 versus and would make up the rest. Was so thrilled when I found the words! Now I don't have to tell him she will eat peas and carrots when she comes. However, I fill in the (when she comes) with Yee Haw so it is known around my house as the Yee Haw song.
