Side By Side

Oh, we ain't got a barrel of money,
Maybe we're ragged and funny;
But we'll travel along,
Singing a song,
Side by side.

Though we don't know
What's coming tomorrow;
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow.
We'll travel the road
Sharing our load,
Side by side.

Through all kinds of weather,
What if the sky should fall;
Just as long as we're together,
It really doesn't matter at all,
When they've all had their quarrels and parted,
We'll be the same as we started;
Just travelling along,
Singing a song,
Side by side.

This song is good memories! I had a cassette tape, and one of the songs on that tape was this song, (as well as other good songs!) but it broke when I was like ten. Some other songs on the tape were Zip a dee doo dah, the hit rock and roll song by The Coasters "Along Came Jones", and a Beatles song, "Yellow Submarine".
