Information About Siyahamba
This song is a South African hymn originally written in Afrikaans by Andries van Tonder, an elder of the Judith Church in 1950.
Originally the composition was known in Afrikaans as "Ons marseer nou in die lig van God" and subsequently translated into Zulu with the title ''Siyahamba'' or in English "We are Singing" or "We Are Marching".
The song has since gained international recognition with its words having been translated into many languages.

The song as sung here is in the Zulu language. The "walking through the light of God" or "marching in the light of God" lyrics are a translation of the Zulu ones.

I love that song Siyahamba and we sing that at the church rehearsal thursday night at 6:30 every thursday we have rehearsals. And the choir sing so very nice and I enjoy it very much, but it should be dancing to the song January 24,2012
