Recorded in 1974 by country singer Carroll Baker on her album I'd Go Through it All Again, "Ten Little Fingers" is first attributed to Edward G. Nelson and Ira Schuster. An inductee to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Schuster was popularly known by the name John Siras and also penned such well-known songs as "I Am an American".
This lighthearted children's tune was first published under the full title "Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes".
