The Billboard Song

As I was walking down the street one dark and dreary day,
I came upon a billboard and much to my dismay
The sign was torn and tattered from the storm the night before
The wind and rain had done its job and this is what I saw. .

Smoke. . Coca-Cola chewing gum,
Chew Wrigley's spearming beer,
Ken-L-Ration dog food,
Makes your complexion clear,
Simonize your baby
With a Hershey's candy bar,
And Pepsi-Cola beauty cream is used by all the stars!

So. . take your next vacation,
in a brand new Fridigare,
Learn to play the piano,
In your winter underwear!
Doctors say that babies
should smoke until they're three
And people over sixty-five should bathe in Lipton Tea!

the thing to keep in mind, is that a highly stratified society is in no ones best inteeestwrll that is unless you happen to enjoy having your lavish home surrounded by walls that separate you from the slums with little in between

Like all technology the E-Reader has befenits and disadvantages. It all depends on where your values lie, will you side with the befenits or disadvantages. I don't like E-Readers because I'm old skoolz and like to read physical books (and my Dad owns at least a thousand so I don't usually have to buy them.) I don't look down on people that like E-Readers. It's like the Mac vs. PC argument, they both have advantages and disadvantages. Stop fighting, and stop trying to change people.

I grew up with my mom singing this to me... It was from her childhood; and it's gonna be one of those fun little songs I plan on singing to my daughter when she's old enough. This brings back so many memories!

OMG! I can't believe that others know this song too! My childhood friend (in the mid-1970's) named Kara taught me that song and we sang it over and over while swinging on her swingset in her backyard in Portsmouth, RI. I don't know where she learned it, but I will ask her next time we "email" each other again. Thanks VERY much for the trip down memory lane! (Considering I just turned 43 YESTERDAY, plus I have loads of gray hair and Multiple Sclerosis, I really appreciate those memories of my youth!)

(@Gt) The person sees billboard(s), they are tattered, so the person only sees part of the words, this is what the person sees.
