We Are The Dinosaurs

Information About We Are The Dinosaurs

Originally written and performed by The Laurie Berkner Band, ‘We Are The Dinosaurs’ has become a very popular children’s song.

The artists were unsure when they were about to record this tune whether or not they should do or not. They questioned whether audiences would like the lyrics. In the end the song not only inspired the album name but also the cover art and became very popular.

Children can be encouraged to stomp their feet when the ‘dinosaurs’ are marching and at the end of this tune: children could all roar to see who is the loudest. Which is always popular with young children.
